Data dan Sensor

We have installed and operated three Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) and three Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, since 2017.

A. Automatic Weather Stations (AWS)

Since 2017, an expanding network of Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) has been deployed across strategic locations in Surabaya to monitor real-time meteorological conditions. These stations are integrated into the Weathercloud global network, enabling public access to hyperlocal weather data. Key installations include:

  1. Stasiun Keputih Permai (Keputih)

  2. Stasiun ITS Kampus Sukolilo

  3. Stasiun ITS Kampus Manyar

These AWS units provide critical data for weather forecasting, disaster preparedness, and climate research, with open accessibility to promote public engagement.

B. Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS)

Since 2019, Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS) have been operational in Surabaya to assess pollution levels and support air quality management. These stations are part of the IQAir global network, offering real-time Air Quality Index (AQI) updates. Key installations include:

  1. Stasiun Benowo SAQI

  2. Stasiun Keputih SAQI

  3. Stasiun ITS Surabaya SAQI

These AQMS units help identify pollution hotspots, inform public health advisories, and guide policy interventions.
